Interpet Filter Start No14 100ml

Filter Start starts the filtration bacteria colony to create a healthy aquarium. This is a bacterial culture which rapidly starts up the waste breakdown process in the filter. This process is essential for a healthy aquarium.

Fish basically live in their own waste which remains in the aquarium and can cause diseases which can become lethal. If a filter is established it contains bacteria which will breakdown the fish waste. It is common for fish problems to occur in new aquariums because filter bacteria take a few weeks to become established. Filter start contains cultures of bacteria that start up essential waste breakdown.

For use in coldwater and tropical freshwater aquariums.

Does not colour the water and is harmless to fish and plant life.

We recommend you use Filter Start when: * Maturing a new filter or media, especially when filter foams are new or have been replaced.
* (Dose every 2 days for 2 weeks).
* When test kits show your filter is not working properly
* Use once a month to ensure optimum filter function.
